The sun actually peeked its face out from behind the grey today. In spite of the snow, rain, and wind :) So we went for a little walk up and down our street a couple times. Rowan just likes to be out so I let him walk. It's a bit easier (and dryer) on the sidewalk instead of running around the backyard. Especially today with all the precip. In any case, I finally remembered the camera when we were doing something so I present to you all, our blustery puddle adventure!

He started out holding my hand because he walked across the street. It didn't last long once he spotted the rocks and puddles.

Rowan's not one to fuss over his hair
but he's not a big fan of it blowing around.

He seemed to forget
about the wind though
when I gave him a chance
to splash in some puddles.

What a cutie eh?

It didn't take too long after finding some gravel for Rowan to remember that throwing rocks into water is one of life's great joys.

After playing with rocks and rain puddles we spent a bit of time in the backyard until it started getting too cold.
It was a fun afternoon :)

this looks like an ideal afternoon for this cute little boy. glad you are teaching him so early about the great simple joys in life (and how to pose perfectly for the camera!).
we miss you both and look forward to a little puddle-stomping with you in this neck of the woods soon.
Great action shots! We've changed wallpaper on the computer 3 times already this week because of cute Rowan pictures. We should just set it on a slide show.
